Southern Hills Golf and Country Club is a beautiful and challenging 18-hole, Par 72 course consisting of nice rolling hills and a pastoral setting. Established in 1988, Southern Hills has become a favorite for local and traveling players alike. Open to the public, it offers something for every level of player.
Southern Hills has a driving range, a practice green, and a chipping green for your added improvement.
Course owners Reed and Rachel "Rusty" Welch began a vigorous upgrade program to Southern Hills in 2008 both on the course and in the beautiful clubhouse. Brand new 2008 Yamaha carts were added in January 2008, as well as several new pieces of maintenance equipment. The summer months of 2008 also brought the addition of 4 new Tee Boxes, a new bridge and an improved Driving Range with the addition of Artificial Turf, as well as Irrigated Turf areas.
In the Clubhouse, a full service bar was created and named "Reed's 19th Hole". Here you can have a relaxing drink and enjoyable hot sandwiches and appetizers. New paint, carpet and furnishings were incorporated, making the Clubhouse the "finest" space in the area to accommodate your golf outings and tournaments, business meetings or wedding receptions.
